THE LAW CHAMBER
List of available publications
A New Reading of the Book of Job
The author offers a new, hypermodern commentary on the Book of Job - a new way of reading it as a case report: the case of Job versus God! The essay analyzes the many multicultural elements which are combined in the Book, and offers an explanation of why the Book is so moving to us, even today. Along the way, it analyzes the genre of the book, and the ironic elements of the book, and even suggests that the book is a very early record of a psychoterapy or "intervention".
Contract and Property
Lurking in the background of the Global Financial Crisis that hit the pavement in 2008, is something called "securitization" - the practice of pooling loans and other obligations and turning them into property that can be bought and sold. Here is a brief excerpt from Tamar Frankel's authoritative treatise on the subject exploring the differences between contract and property and suggesting how those differences impact the regulation of securitization. This excerpt has been augmented and turned into a "layered" book, in our style.

The Chariot of the Law
Remembering Plato's discussion, in the Phaedrus, of how the soul is a chariot drawn by two horses, we can think of the law, also, as a chariot drawn by two horses: one of the horses is Bureaucracy, and the other is the Quest for justice. This short essay presents this idea, and explores some of its implications.
